Twilight Saga : Breaking Dawn Pt. 1

Wedding dress Bella sangat cantik...

Aku dah tonton. 2 kali. Dan ia memang best! Ini Twilight. Bukan Underworld. Bukan The Vampire Diaries.

p/s: Ai dalam team Edward. Sebab tu ai tak mention pasal Jacob Black. *peace* heheheh

The Time Traveller's Wife

Semalam filem lakonan Eric Bana dan Rachel McAdams ini menjadi pilihan kawan baik aku Jo, untuk dijadikan filem melepas tekanan final examnya. The Time Traveller's Wife merupakan filem yang dibikin berdasarkan sebuah novel yag mempunyai judul yang sama.  Penilaian aku?
Tengok saja apa yang terjadi pada Twilight, The Notebook, P.S I Love You, Message in A Bottle, Angels and Demons, etc (sekadar menyebut beberapa tajuk).
Hmmm...have to take note on this.

Twilight the Book vs. Twilight the Movie

Hehehe...I can't seem to help myself. I have to write this down. Twilight, the first book from the Twilight Saga written by the best selling author Stephenie Meyer is my current obsession right now. Well, I've known about this book last year but I'm not really into teen's flick back then so I just ignore it. Although my sister keeps going blabbering about the hero – the sweet vampire- I was not tempted to read it. I mean, come on; ‘sweet vampire’? I grew up reading Anne Rice’s vampire chronicles and they are supposed to be hot, bad and errr hot! They suck human blood and they have no compassion whatsoever (except for Louis). Even Sherrilyn Kenyon’s vampire are bad! Sweet vampire? Please!!! It wasn’t until last September, she persuades me (again!) to give it a try and man, I was totally hooked up with the book! I should apologies to my sister for laughing at her when she told me about Twilight (the whole ‘sweet vampire’ thing) It was a touching love story (yes people, this is a Love Story not Vampire Story, so if you’re looking for hot, bad and immortal vampire, this is not the book for you) and unlike most of the sloppy teen’s novel, this one really makes you wish that you were teenager once more. At least I did *squeal with delight* (me? squealing, seriously!) The story is mainly about the forbidden love between Bella Swan, the human with Edward Cullen, the romantic, sweet, adorable and hot (in his unique way) vampire. They both know they shouldn’t be with each other but who are they to ignore the fate? When it’s meant to be, then it’s meant to be. Want to know more? Read this: Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother remarried and Bella chooses to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn't expect much of anything to change. But things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen. For Edward is nothing like any boy she's ever met. He's nothing like anyone she's ever met, period. He's intelligent and witty, and he seems to see straight into her soul. In no time at all, they are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance - unorthodox because Edward really isn't like the other boys. He can run faster than a mountain lion. He can stop a moving car with his bare hands. Oh, and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. That's right - vampire. But he doesn't have fangs - that's just in the movies. And he doesn't drink human blood, though Edward and his family are unique among vampires in that lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for - a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. Somehow or other, they will have to manage their unmanageable love. But when unexpected visitors come to town and realize that there is a human among them Edward must fight to save Bella? A modern, visual, and visceral Romeo and Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair - between vampire and mortal. T here’s three more books from the saga; New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I’ve already read New Moon and Eclipse and Breaking Dawn is on my December TBR list. Although the books are written for young adults (the teenagers) but adults should give it a try too. It is a good book to read. I want to (very bad) to rave about Edward Cullen (about why I love him so much) but unfortunately, my time is limited. I still got tons of work to do and day dreaming about Edward Cullen is not a good idea right now. But I must say this ‘Edward Cullen is the man every girl wish for’ – well, except for the part he drinks blood to live, that just make me sick! Go and pick up the book. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Now, the movie. The world premier for the movie was 21.11.2008 and we (Malaysian folk) will only get to watch it this coming Thursday, 27.11.2008. I can't say much about it because I havne;t got the chnace to watch it yet. I've already make plans with B and Dilla to watch it Friday night. Based on the review I've read on the net, the story was "okay, awesome, superb, blah and the best". I manage to watch the trailer on youtube and it left me wanting more! But I won't put my expection high because based on exprience, when you make a movie out of a book, it will dissapoint you. Eg. Interview With A Vampire (Anne Rice) - major dissapointment for me. The movie ain't eerie as the book. The only reason I watch it till the end is because of Brad Pitt:P
Anyway, I'll write something about the movie after I watch it. And Brandon, please get us very good sit, okay?! Need to log off now. My works are 'calling' me back.... sheesh!!
